COOL EVENT !! Great road of just over 2km - tight and twisty combined
with large yumps and a ford, the road winding up the hill. We did one
practice run and three timed runs during the day and then two runs at
night (in very thick fog !).
The car went really well and I'm rapt with the result! Gary Orton came
with me on a run and then took me in his car - wow, what a driver. He
came with me on the next two runs and I improved my times by 10 seconds
over the 2km course. We finished up 18th out of 27 cars - great result
seeing that we had in the back of our minds that the Hawkes Bay Rally
is on next weekend ! Enormous thanks to Gary for his help !
English folio due at school and a stats and science test Tuesday - plus
having to get the car ready for us to go on the ferry early Thursday morning.
Life is busy at the moment.
